S&M Moving is pleased to announce we have been chosen as one of the primary haulers for Cartus Corporation. As a global relocation company specializing in household goods shipping, Cartus moves over 150,000 customers world wide each year.

As a primary hauler, we have been selected to haul shipments of all sizes, moving throughout the 48 continental states. At times, we will also be able to select specific shipments of our choice when we see van operators in need of fill.

This is an exciting opportunity. We will be able to compete with New World Van Lines, as well as other carriers, for additional business in the future.

The pay model for hauling the Cartus shipments as one of our drivers has its benefits as well. Take a look:


The typical industry pay model uses the linehaul percentage method paying drivers 55% of the linehaul. Here is an example:

  Total Take Home    $2,200.00


Now, lets take a look at our model.
We pay our drivers 77% of the retained revenue on Cartus shipments. The retained revenue is 84.5% of the distributed linehaul.
